Safe Space Program
Started in 2014 as an initiative of Reading Pride Celebration, the Safe Space Program has helped the LGBTQ+ community identify the businesses in the Greater Reading area that are committed to offering a space, product, and services that respect diversity, equity, and equality for all.
Nonmembers can still sign the Non-discrimination Pledge and display the safe space decal but will no longer be listed on our site. Our audience will be advised to look for safe space decals to be aware of the businesses who took the pledge. Members are listed and will not need both decals.
